Good day all,
I am not a huge social media person, but I will sign onto facebook a few times a week. I was asked by a patient to follow Amputee Coalition of American as she finds many comments, questions, pictures &/or videos on there somewhat bizarre. Many are easily explained or understandable. What I just do not understand are the numerous videos of folks walking for the 1st time in the P-bars in the Prosthetist's office with a bare prosthetic foot! Who teaches dynamic alignment without having a shoe/sneaker on the prosthetic foot? The person is wearing a shoe/sneaker on the 'sound side' foot, but nothing on the prosthetic foot. Why?
