Hello List,
Thank you for all the Collection Agency responses! The majority suggested collecting deductibles and co-pays up front. Here are the responses that recommended collection agencies:
We still use Transworld but not that much not sure we will reup when time comes. We have used various local collection agencies in the past. But over the past several years we have become very aggressive and we collect deductibles and copays upon delivery. Some people squawk but overall not an issue. We tell them that if there deductible is met when our claim processed we will refund them. I would rather refund them than chase them down. We barley use collection services anymore unless it's for some unforeseen balance. Good luck.
I can recommend 4 collections agencies.

We’ve been using IC Systems- they’ve done ok but most things are old now. They do take 50% so we use them as last resort. We started having a terrible time with it too. We are now collecting minimum 50% deposit and remaining due at delivery. We’ve been successful with this and have had surprisingly very little push back and we are not in an affluent area. We do a lot of up front insurance verification and notifying the patient. If insurance processes the claim differently than expected then we reimburse the patient once we receive the insurance payment.

used this company when I practiced
I was forwarded your email regarding a respectable collection agency. I just researched different agency and chose IC Systems. I just submitted our first two claims this week so I cannot speak of their collection processes; however, they have been great to work with as far as set up. Also, their online portal is very user friendly. If you are interested my contact was Max DeVet <Email Address Redacted> Good luck with your search
