My current office is considering investing in some automated fabrication
technologies, such as the scanners and milling systems, or, perhaps, some
of the 3D printing technologies we have been hearing about, if they are
mature enough to explore.
They need to be able to do both prosthetic and orthotics work. I was
curious what experiences, positive and negative, people have been having,
and whether its worth the investment over, say, another technician or two?
Frankly, the reason we are considering it is we have an extremely
experienced technician who is talking about retiring, and we had been
considering this for awhile.
So, basically, we want to consider our options, and are looking for
recommendations.
Thanks in advance!!!
