I have a co-worker who has to make a decision about where to amputate her
right ring finger. her options are to amputate at the PIP joint or to have
a complete 4th ray amputation and move the pinky over to fill in the hole.
We are looking for the best functional outcomes. There is not a lot of
literature about it.
