Hello All,
I was ideally hoping the practitioner who fabricated this device sees this post and will tell me how you coded this. The proximal section no longer fits. We don't know how old the foot and the knee are. I'm not sure at this point if they need to be replaced. Would the proximal section technically be considered an AFO? I have seen laminated AFOs but I don’t know how you bill to cover your cost of materials with no orthotic codes available for lamination or carbon fiber. I also don’t know how to justify the AFO section since the diagnosis is not drop foot. Picture attached. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I have more photos if needed.
Thanks,
