Hello again, I have another question for you.

We have a young amputee who is pretty active. We coded a Velocity foot
L5981 and L5986 and then also a durashock pylon L5984 and L5988. Each set
of codes are the codes recommended by the distributor.
My claim came back and denied the L5984 (on the durashock) against the
L5986 on my foot as being mutually exclusive. I see per the PTP edit list
that they can be billed together with an appropriate modifier. Do any of
you have any experience with this? If so, what is the modifier or what
justification can be used for that?

Once again, thank you for your help.

Thank you
