Hello,

My name is Dailly Mack and I am a graduate student in the Masters of
Orthotics and Prosthetics program at the University of Pittsburgh. I am
currently doing a research study for my graduation capstone project. The
purpose of this study is to see the prevalence of skin complications in
lower limb prosthesis users and how often they occur. Specific aims are
included to gain a well rounded picture of key components of reasons for
skin complications to occur and how they correlate to overall skin health
of the patient.

I am collecting data from eligible patients and clinicians for this study.
The study will be conducted in the form of a survey that will take
approximately 10-15 minutes to complete. The survey consists of rating
scales, multiple choice questions and optional fill in the blank sections
for better clarification for the questions being asked pertaining to
prosthesis use, limb pain, hygiene, skin and hygiene education and skin
care. If you would like to participate in the study please fill out the
link below (qualtrics link will be provided). All information given will be
anonymous and safely handled though the Pitt qualtrics site. This is a
voluntary survey and participants can withdraw at any time during the
completion of the survey. Thank you for your time.

Best,

Dailly Mack
