Hello Colleagues,
We are in a situation where we have a client with an OttoBock Myoplus socket system currently using the Motion Control ETD. (reason for this related to nature of traumatic injury). We are now wanting to explore option for a Multi-Articulated hand with the TASKA being top of the list, based on this client’s work and recreational environment. We have demo’d the hand with this MyoPlus pattern recognition system and indeed it does appear to function, although both OttoBock and TASKA do not certify compatibility with each other’s system.
Questions: 1.) does anyone have relevant long term experience with these two working together on the same prosthesis? The TASKA would be using the supplied / integrated energy packs from OttoBock, vs. those supplied with the TASKA.
2.) in the absence of the first being a possibility, any other recommendations for a MA hand with similar durability / water proof design as the TASKA that would work?
Many thanks,
Markus Säufferer, B.Sc.(Kin), CP(c)
