Hello forum members! I am a student researcher at the University of Pittsburgh’s Master’s program for O&P. As a part of my Capstone project, I am researching clinician’s current knowledge on the available quality management systems in the orthotic and prosthetic field. I hope to discover trends in application of these systems, and whether or not they are effective. If you choose to participate, you will be asked about your background (clinical experience, appointment frequency, etc.), as well as your current knowledge of quality management systems in your facility. Your participation is entirely voluntary, and you can stop filling out the survey at any time if you change your mind. The estimated duration of participation is 10 minutes. An infrequent risk of breach of confidentiality is addressed by not collecting identifiable or sensitive information to begin with. Data from this study will only be reported in aggregated form so that information cannot be traced back to individual participants. There is no compensation, financial or otherwise, for participating in this study. In the event of questions or concerns, please contact me, the principal investigator, Emily Engler, at <Email Address Redacted>
