Members of the O&P professional communities in the U.S. and Canada:

Our University of Washington research team needs your help to identify lower limb orthosis users for a new survey study. The study, which is sponsored by both the Department of Defense and the American Orthotic and Prosthetic Association, will help us to create a free self-report outcome measure that you can use in practice. We are collecting information from AFO, KAFO, and HKAFO users across North America, and we would like to invite your patients to participate. The survey can be taken online, or we can send your patients a paper survey to complete. Eligible respondents will receive $50 (USD) for taking the survey.

To successfully complete this project, we ask that you help us get the word out. We would like to send you free informational materials (posters, flyers, and pamphlets) that you can post in your clinics and share with your patients. Please send us an email with your name and clinic address, and we will send you the materials to share with your patients. If you'd like more information about the study, please visit our study website at <URL Redacted> or contact our study coordinator at 1-800-504-0564.

Thank you in advance for your help; we look forward to hearing from you.
