Hello esteemed colleagues,
I’m working on a small project I’d like some input on. An old patient and close friend is a hip disartic from childhood who is now 60ish and no longer uses a prosthesis. He uses crutches and has developed arthritis in his hands and wrists. I’m designing a crutch handle that holds his hand and wrist in a straighter position while loading his hypothenar area more. I’ve got a working model and want to digitize it and fabricate it with a 3D printer. I’m thinking a plastic shape with thin padding outside and a stainless bushing for the long screw for strength. I’d appreciate any suggestions. Thanks
