A long-time prosthesis user in her early 60s (short LT transtibial, avid
walker and biker, not overweight, short and bony residual limb) recently
started to have this problem:

When I flex my calf muscle it’s rock hard and even pressing my finger on
it hurts. I know it should feel different from the other leg but I don’t
remember it being so sensitive to touch.

She is having some other unrelated health issues and dealing with
fluctuating pain medication and activity levels right now, but I wanted to
see if anyone else has had a similar issue come up with a patient. She
plans to see her ortho doc but wanted to know if I had any insight.
