Good Evening List Friends,
I have always been of the understanding that residual limb water blisters,
that suddenly appear out of nowhere are caused by a void or lack of contact
between the socket interface and the socket wall.
Passive suction with an expulsion valve. 9mm Alpha Original Cushion liner
with OttoBock sleeve. Several dime sized water blisters appeared on distal
limb after a few hours standing in 90+ degrees.
Would appreciate any feedback others have about water blister formation and
how you treat.
Sincerely,
Jeff A. Zeller, CP, BOCPO
