I have received answers to this question before but none were adequate
to this new situation. I need a locking liner to be used with a strap.
Transfemoral limb, 70cm distal circ, 92cm proximal, limb is 40cm long,
length of liner needs to be 45 cm. Does anyone have suggestions? No
other suspension system will work due to the size of this individual
and expected limb volume loss. He is a new amputee, expected K3 within
6 weeks. Walked well without a liner, the socket stayed on enough to
walk with just passive suction with a thin sock.
Perhaps a cushion liner with lateral attachment? is there a cushion
liner available that is large enough? I haven't found one.
