Hello Listserv
My name is Cindy Laurent. My partner Josué Bernard and I are native born Haitians and ISPO certified Orthotist/Prosthetists years with 10 years of experience. We are opening an orthotic and prosthetic clinic in Port-au-Prince Haiti called PROPhy Care
It is our plan to offer a service that will meet the highest quality accessibility to everyone without exception. The target market sector is the Haitian population with needs for orthopedic rehabilitation in Pétion-Ville and the surrounding areas. We have already secured a location and are working acquiring supplies.
Providing quality service is our primary goal and we will achieve this through developing close relationships with our treating physicians and providing regular follow up care. We want our patients to feel welcome no matter their confession of faith or religious affiliation. All are welcome.
We are Haitians but we also want to achieve the American dream. So we are reaching out for assistance to help us facilitate the creation of our center. Orthotic and Prosthetic supplies are expensive in Haiti. We are hoping for donations materials (new or used), financial donations, and any other way you can help to push us forward.
I have included a list of supplies we are looking for. We have a friend in Florida who can accept donations and then we will transport to Haiti. Please respond if you are willing to help.
Respectfully
Cindy Laurent CPO and Josué Bernard CPO
