Subject: University of Washington Outcomes Measurement Survey
Dear colleagues:
Researchers at the University of Washington are looking for ABC Certified Prosthetists (CP), Prosthetist-Orthotists (CPO), and Prosthetic Assistants (CPA or CPOA) to complete a short outcomes measurement survey (uwstudy.org<file:///C:/Users/Brian%20Hafner/files/email/eudora/attach/uwstudy.org>). The goal of this NIH-funded research is to better understand the clinical resources that impact the use of outcome measures in prosthetics clinical practice, as well as clinician experiences with administering outcome measures with their patients. We will share the results with the O&P community in an effort to raise awareness and understanding of the benefits and challenges to using outcome measures in practice.
If you agree to participate, you will be asked to complete a 20-minute online survey about your use of outcome measures in the clinic. The survey will also include demographic questions, such as the length of time you have been practicing as a prosthetist or prosthetic assistant.
Taking part in this study is voluntary. We will assign an identification number to the study information you provide to us to ensure the confidentiality of your responses.
If you participate and complete the survey, you will be entered into a raffle for a $50 Amazon gift card. We will add one Amazon gift card for every 20 completed surveys, so you will have about a 5% chance of winning a gift card.
To complete the survey, or to find out more information about the study, visit uwstudy.org<file:///C:/Users/Brian%20Hafner/files/email/eudora/attach/uwstudy.org>.
Thank you for contributing to research in our profession.
