Hello everyone!
I have a patient who came with foot orthoses which appeared to be a plastic arch support style with a neosponge with x-static top cover. He states that this worked well until it wears out like it is now. He has had other materials but he doesn't know what they were that caused dermatitis breakouts. So I recovered the orthoses with neosponge with x-static again thinking how could there be an issue since it's what he has been wearing. Well he did have a breakout.
I contacted acor and they haven't changed materials or manufacturing of it in years.
Anyone else had this occur or have good logic to why? My next step is to try and experiment if it's the x-static or the neosponge by just trying and seeing the result.
Any help would be appreciated and shorten the experimenting process.
