Hello all,
I had a conversation with Devon Bernard at AOPA this AM about coding for noncorrosive finish.  I have always polished my metal work using jewelers rouge and thought this is what was meant by noncorrosive finish.  He told me that was not the case.  He also checked with other experts and they agreed with him.  I am curious if those of you on the list agree.  I personally don't agree and will continue to code for polishing the metal.
I was also wondering if it is not, what could they have meant when they came up with the code 30+ years ago.  It wasn't chrome plating or other plating as there was also a code for that.  I appreciate your thoughts.
