Dear List,
I have a question as to whether it is permissible to bill for an Alignable
system after the billing of an initial prosthesis.
One of the answers I have received from a source I consider reputable says
the use of L 5910 or L 5920 will be denied by Medicare when billing for a
replacement socket, and has been true since the middle of 2015.
Any clarity on this issue would be appreciated.
