Is anyone running business as usual by not limiting patient visits during this pandemic? I wish that I knew the answer was none and shame on you that are. Everyone needs to do their part by limiting exposure and this includes for our profession, strictly prioritizing appointments to those that are 'essential' visits. We have more than 186,000 cases in the US confirmed by the CDC as of today so imagine the untold true numbers. Stay safe. Stay home if you can. Rotate work schedules for all staff so not everyone is in the office at the same time. Screen your patients before they come to the office. Take their temperature outside your building when they arrive and send them home if they have a fever. Use gloves and masks and disinfect after every encounter. Sanitize items before making adjustments, before transporting between facilities and before fitting to the patient. Tele-health when possible for consults and follow up care. If you've been exposed, stay home!
