Hello all,
My name is Zaman and I am a high school student in Washington, DC. I have designed and built a rudimentary prototype of a transtibial prosthesis that uses a compression sleeve around the thigh and adjustable length pylon in lieu of a socket, thus mitigating the need for frequent replacement as the child grows. Instead, the prosthesis will grow with them, saving hundreds of dollars over the course of a few years.
I am looking for someone who can help me through the process of testing and improving my design with a view to distribute it through organisations such as Doctors Without Borders and the Red Cross among others.
Please let me know if you’re interested.
Best,
Zaman Keinath-Esmail
