ADVANCED PEDORTHICS CE COURSE
Offered by the O&P Technology Programs
Spokane Falls Community College
March 25 & 26, 2017
This course is designed as an advanced pedorthics educational series with objectives being to elevate the skill-enhancing abilities to problem solve, use deductive reasoning, and apply advanced biomechanical theory. We have extended the early registration date to March 17th.
Shane Hayes, C.Ped, who has served the industry for over 40 years with clinical experiences specializing in advanced techniques for chronic and unresolved pathologies, will teach this Hands-on course. This is the last time that Shane will be teaching the course since he is retiring this summer. This course will systematically improve the understanding of / or achieve a higher level of mastery of the necessary skills for advanced pedorthics. An applied patient assessment is incorporated within the course to aid in accurately formulating a biomechanically engineered foot orthosis, ankle foot orthosis and footwear to meet the patient's individual needs. The course is highly recommended for the prevention-driven practitioner as well as practitioners treating chronic or unresolved foot pathologies.
Approved for 16.25 CEU credits by the ABC; 16.5 CEUs by the BOC; and 12 MCE by the OPC.
Cost: $550.00 Early Registration (Until March 17, 20-17)
$650.00 Late Registration (March 11th to March 24th)
A Scholarship Fund is available and offered by the Heather Moore Bernard Scholarship Fund for C. Pedorthists who work in a shoe store.
