Hello List,
I have a 13 y/o, 125 lb, bilateral Knee Disarticulation patient for whom I have used Total Knee 2000.
Her femurs have grown to the point that now she has trouble getting into a car. The current knees do not add but about 1 to the length. I have eliminated the pyramids--screwing the threads on top of the knees directly into four prong threaded female receptors laminated into the socket.
Do any of you have suggestions for other knees that may be more low-profile, or that may function better for this patient profile?
I will post responses (without a respodent identifier.)
Thank you!
