are offering the following Pre-Cert/CE Fitter Courses
MASTECTOMY FITTER (Pre-Cert/CE) October 28, 2016 SFCC Campus Building 19 Room 110
Registration Fee: $120 (Includes refreshments, lunch, parking pass)
A mastectomy fitter is an allied healthcare professional who is specifically educated and trained in the provision of breast prostheses and post-mastectomy services. This includes fitting, adjusting, or modifying devices that reflect the level of education and training received. This one-day course will be offered at the O&P Technology Programs classroom 110 on the campus of SFCC on October 28, 2016. This course has been approved by the ABC and BOC for 8 hours of CME credits and 6 MCE by OPC (Canada).
THERAPEUTIC SHOE FITTER (Pre-Cert/CE) November 5, 2016 SFCC Campus Building 19 O&P Lab
Registration Fee: $ 175 (Includes refreshments, lunch, parking pass)
Registration AFTER 10/19/16: $ 225 (Includes refreshments, lunch, parking pass)
A therapeutic shoe fitter is an allied healthcare professional specifically educated and trained to provide non-custom therapeutic shoes and non-custom multi-density inserts. This course includes fitting, adjusting, or modifying devices that reflect the level of education and training received. This is a hybrid course with 16-hours online didactic and a 4-hour in class fitting lab in Spokane, Washington on November 5, 2016. The course has been approved for 16 Category II CEU credits by the ABC; 14.16 Category I CEU and 6.34 Category II CEU by BOC; and 18.75 MCE by OPC (Canada).
