Hi everyone,
We are currently using the Tracer scanning system and have been pleased. 25%
of the time I make several modifications to a check socket over a period of
time and end up alginating the socket, scanning the mold and sending the
file to our c-fab so my patient can continue wearing the dynamic check
socket during fab. While alginate is fun to play with, it's time consuming
and somewhat expensive to just scan and discard.
I remember seeing an internal scanning wand years ago and curious to know
if there is something like that available. I don't believe I've seen
anything at the meeting exhibit halls so I thought I'd inquire.
Thoughts or information??
As always, thanks for this great forum!
