Hello All!
I am looking for suggestions on how to reduce the odor of helmet lining. We make custom rigid helmets in-house with non-removable thermofoam lining and it tends to get smelly quickly with certain body chemistry. I am now considering doing a removable foam liner that is dipped in sealing liquid from Danmar. I was planning to use a molding dummy so the liner will not be wrecked during the second mold - Does anyone have any suggestions or hints to do this? OR Does anyone have any better ideas to reduce odor? I have been providing each patient with a bottle of Liberty max spray which is a skin friendly anti bacterial which seems to help keep the smell under control - Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
cheryl
