I have a 47 y/o long term dialysis male patient with chronic/recurrent back pain which may partially relate to 20 years of dialysis and renal osteodystrophy and consequent bone changes/remodeling. He is hyperlordotic and kyphotic and has some pigeon-chest changes as well. Physician is wanting an opinion on bracing. Very little literature on this for adults. From what I have read, bracing may be contraindicated. Any input would be appreciated. Responses will be listed without names, unless specified otherwise. Thank you in advance.
