The Range of Motion Project (ROMP) announces its upcoming clinical missions
to Guatemala and Ecuador in 2017:
26 May - 4 June Clinic in Guatemala
1-9 July Clinic in Ecuador
1-10 September Clinic in Guatemala
13-22 October Clinic in Guatemala
ROMP is a nonprofit organization that provides high quality prosthetic and
orthotic care to people in Guatemala, Ecuador, and the US. ROMP program
sites in the Western Hemisphere have processed more than 7,000 patient
visits in the past 12 years. In addition to employing permanent local
staff, we regularly operate clinical missions in which we bring O&P
practitioners, student, and faculty for 10 day periods to our sites in
Guatemala and Ecuador to work alongside, teach, and learn from our local
practitioners.
Enrollment is now open to volunteer practitioners, students, and faculty of
O&P, PT, and OT for its 2017 clinical missions. Please enroll early as we
expect these programs to fill quickly and some are already closed.
For details on the programs and to enroll, please see the ROMP 2017
