I recently offered my edited CMS L-code Excel sheet to the O&P listserv. One who downloaded it commented:
There are two K codes for KOs that you might want to include, K0902 K0901. They are the OTS codes for L1843 and L1845.
This brings up a question I don't know the answer to. Why are these codes K-codes. I thought K-codes were a bridge for transitioning to a new code, like a temporary crosswalk. What else are K-codes? Why do they exist?
Thanks, in advance, for the quality answers I know will follow.
