Good Afternoon,

I have just finished meeting with one of my patient's who is seriously
considering osseointegration.
She has considered osseointegration as an option since her amputation
several years ago and is 25 years old, transfemoral amputee, and very high
functioning in traditional prosthetic socket as an active crossfitter, full
time job ect.
Obviously I am all for this if she wants it and have voiced this but I am
curious if you have heard any negative feedback on this procedure? She has
heard all the positives. My main concern is obviously to do with lifespan
of the technology due to her young age.
