Have a current patient BKA wearing a TSB socket with flexible liner and rigid retainer with Windows cut out along tibia and fib head.
Wearing 1 ply sock and 3 mm liner Ossur comfort with pin.
Patient initially received blister on tibial tuberosity.
Adjusted socket with hearing out flexible liner.
Patient has another blister on the lower half of limb 1/3 of the way from the bottom lateral side of tibial crest
Probably will heat out flexible liner to fix.
Has anyone seen this amount of blisters before what is the cause
I think sock management is poor
Patient claims when additional socks are added increased pain
Active patient Independent ambulator and thin not heavy
Any suggestions would be great thanx
