Hello, everybody!

With one of our Medicaid patients, the insurer is requesting either an
invoice or an attestation of cost for numerous L-codes.

Some of these codes correspond to design elements of the prosthesis (like
total contact fit) that don't have a manufacturer's invoice - after all,
we don't buy total contact fit, we create it. Even things like the check
socket and the custom shaped cover are tricky, because the invoice for the
sheet of plastic or foam would be very tiny compared to the cost of the item
created from it.

How have you handled these situations?

Thanks,
