I have a physician referring a UCB type orthotic (L3000: Foot, insert,
removable, molded to patient model, 'ucb' type, berkeley shell, each) for
the treatment of a Posterior Tibial Tendon Dysfunction diagnosis for a
Medicare patient who is not diabetic. My question is if such a device is
covered in this instance by Medicare. Any help would be greatly
appreciated.
TIA!
