Hello,
I was curious if fitbits or apple watches (or other similar devices) are
validated or accepted as data collection devices for step counting,
cadence, heart rate, etc info?
Does anyone use any of these and find them useful or just overkill? I
haven't had to use this data for an audit but was curious if it would be
valid to use.
It seems like with the new healthcare focus of apps and items like the
apple watch we would have cost effective and valid methods of collecting a
great deal of data about patients heart rate and ambulation.
Thank you for any information
