Thank you for all who responded. I really didn't hear anything new to replace what I was looking for with the exception of Mr. Layton who appears to have something that may be promising.
Enclosed is the list of the responses I received. There were abundant responses and requests for re-posts which seem to indicate there is a void needing to be filled. Hopefully the manufacturers take note and are developing vacuum units which can be attached to pylons or other areas for trans-femoral users.
It has come to my attention that the V-Hold is no longer available as well.
John

1 - V-Hold by Innovative Neurotronics

2 - Please post or let me know. I am looking for same. Old e-pulse was a good pump and they of course replaced it with gutless new one that forces you buy their adapter and have it in line. And I won't touch OWW one anymore, they are so unreliable.
Thank you
3 - What about the entire line of Unity feet from ossur. The unity pump is available in all of their feet (except talux). Thats my go to solution, we fit a lot a TFA VAS

4 - Smart puck is working on a no build height version not sure where it is at might want to check with Royce.

5 - John, will the $35 brake bleeder pump from autozone work?

6 - I think the air puck guys are coming out with something this fall?

7 - I had a similar problem and ended up having to add a P3 distal to the knee with a hose. if you determine a fix I would love to know it. as far as I know the only pump choices are electronic: OB E2, OWW limblogic distal mount or side mount (not available until September), Smartpuck inline and they are also coming out with a side mount (don't think available yet), mechanical pumps are Ossur's Unity or Otto Bock Harmony P3 or the other older P2 or HD.

An option for a non-active vacuum is to use a hand pump (assuming your socket was fabricated correctly and no leaks). That is not the greatest option but if it is an existing socket with a non-working pump, that may be sufficient to get the patient by until they need a new socket altogether.

This is an area of need that somebody will address. Of course come October we may be doing fewer. Those of us that use vacuum know what a powerful fitting technique it can be. We all need to do what is necessary to try and keep it on the books.

8 - What happened to the v hold

9 - Well .. . . There was the V-hold but it appears that Otto bock sued them out of existence. I'm going to attempt to modify the OWW puck to mount to the pylon. If I'm successful I may post some pictures.

10 - Check out the Ossur Unity pump

11 - Ossur has a foot that utilizes a little bladder under the heel to create vacuum they may be able to be adapted to use in various manners

12 - John,
I do not know if I can help solve your patient's problems, but, other practitioners have used my pumps as alternatives to the existing systems current & obsolete. Take a look @ ladonsys.com to see the original systems and call me if you want to know more. My stuff was originally designed as vacuum donning for TF skin fit, but, many options available and I can work with you without you having to be upfront with money, until we find a solution, or, decide it doesn't fit the need!

13 - Hi John,
Could you use the V-hold. It appears to be designed to attach to a 30mm pylon and connect to a valve of choice. (SPS product)
