List-
Is anyone aware of a resource that aids in the process of defining the
ICD-10 for our field- specifically O&P based diagnoses? I know that we as
practitioners don't assign these, but I have been and suspect that I will
again be called upon for advice (especially for prosthetics). I truly don't
fully comprehend the differences between complete and partial, let alone
subsequent encounter versus sequela. I can make a pretty good educated
GUESS. I am not seeking other practitioners' pretty good educated guesses in
this request. What I am seeking is resources in writing that provide
guidance, examples or direction that help distinguish, for example, between
the 27 different BKA codes. A reference from one of our national
organizations, especially for guidance on prosthetics, would be ideal.
