Hello List!
Any suggestions what options I have for a 62 cm locking liner?
Thank you.
RESONSES: THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR HELP!!!
Custom Otto-Bock liners. They made me a 75 AK locking liner. Good luck
Evolution Industries (now an Ossur company) - They do a great job and have
done very large locking liners for me.

The practitioner I work with fit a 450# gentleman to an AK about 6 months
ago. I do see the patient often at Support Group meetings and he is doing
surprisingly well. We used a custom liner from Evolution. The patient was
casted for this and the cast was sent to Evolution for fabrication. When
the liner was available, the guy I work with casted over this liner and he
made a test socket in our lab. I prefer to take the measurements and have
Evolution do the test socket from measurements. These have worked
extremely well about 95% of the time (even with strange shapes). We tried
a pin system and eventually switched to a Velcro lanyard. He was much
happier with this suspension. We used a TMKN-500 from TiMed. You will
probably hate the knee as much as we do. The manual lock does not function
very well and the extension assist is extremely strong. We have not been
able to dampen this since we got it. We even sent it back once. The knee
weighs a lot, but our patient has been relatively satisfied with this. It
is what it is... the knee does support the patient well.
Hope this helps. Good Luck!
52cm medi TFS liner will fit almost anyone..
Ohio Willow Wood might be able to make them. I do have some un-used 500
lb. components and a sach foot, 2 tube clamps and a sach foot adapter and
I think a pyramid.
