Hi all
I encountered something never seen before.
I had a patient in Medi liner. Liner started having black embedded
stains in the gel, about penny sized. Patient also had heat rash so I
contributed stains to that.
Switched him to Ossur liner with aloe gel - same story. Though rash
went away, liner turns black - as in, deep into gel, again.
He is using only baby shampoo to clean his skin and rubbing alcohol
for the gel. No special medication or lotions, nothing I have not seen
or used before.
I have never ever seen this before and worked in very hot states.
Any ideas what can cause deep black stains?
Thank you.
