Good morning all,
I started selling Dr. Comforts to my patients in the last year. I also like to find out how the shoes work and will order a pair for myself so I can comment on them to my patients. I bought a pair of running shoes to replace some Aetrex I have been using. The Dr. Comfort, Chris, started falling apart after using them for 5 months, half the time as Aetrex or Propets I have worn. I wear them in the gym 3 days a week for an hour a day. I was wondering if anyone else was seeing this type of problem with their patient's or their shoes? Dr. Comfort said they have a 6 month warranty, I bought them 7 months ago, didn't wear them for a couple months, then when I did they started pulling apart. Dr. Comfort said sorry, you're past your warranty, tough luck. The issue for me is the short life span of these shoes and if they are holding up for others in the field? I really don't care about them for me, I can afford another pair, but I was wondering about these for our patients. Are these lasting for them, or should we look elsewhere? We do primarily prosthetics, so they go on our prosthetic diabetic patients and we have low volume, that is why I was asking you in the list serve your opinions.
Just wondering and thanks,
