Good Morning!
I received an e-mail from a patient who has rescued an abused dog. The dog underwent significant surgery and has survived and recovered nicely. However, as a result of the injury and subsequent surgery, it has approximately a one inch shortening of one of its hind legs. The owner is inquiring about provision of a leg lengthening device for his new pet.
The owner is already aware that the dog in all likelihood, will want to chew or otherwise rid himself of the device. All hints, clues, and/or actual solutions will be gladly accepted as dog prosthetics are not usually included in my daily routine.
