Hello,
I am interested in trying to fabricate a cable driven (body powered) wrist
orthosis designed for individuals with grip strength paralysis or weakness
to use for prehension (i.e., spinal cord injury). I have found very limited
information in the literature/manuals. Does anyone have any experience with
or information on an orthosis like this? I have found some information on
the Handy Hook and the Stanmore Flair Orthosis, however, the information
isn't quite providing the information I want. Please let me know if you
have any experiences to share that may help inform my design.
Sincerely,
Theresa
