*Attention prosthetic and orthotic technicians in North America.

We are a group of technical students working on a project for our
professional issues course. Our project topic is on the technical
registration process within Canada and we would like to hear some of your
opinions on the value of becoming registered.

Our questions for you are:

For you personally, what value do you see in becoming a registered
technician? (Please indicate whether you are working in Canada or in USA
and whether you are a registered or non-registered technician)

What are some of the advantages and disadvantages that come with being a
registered technician?

What opportunities do you want to see in the future for technicians that
become registered?

Thank you very much in advance for taking the time to answer the above
questions, we really appreciate it!

Regards,

Robin Cairns, Patricia Dang & Krista Kerber
Second Year P&O Technical Students, George Brown College
