We are pleased to announce that the Colorado State Association will have
their annual State Meeting in conjunction with PrimeFare West Scientific
Symposium again this year in Denver, CO at the Marriott City Center, March
20-21, 2015. The Colorado Association will be sponsoring the keynote
speaker:
*Brian Gustin, CP*
*CEO of Forensic O&P Consulting*
He will present Friday, March 20th on:
*The Anatomy of a Claim Review*
Take the journey of an O&P claim from the perspective of the case manager.
Look at an actual and typical prosthetic claim with the eyes of the claims
reviewer. Decide if you would approve the claim or not based on the
information submitted. If this looks eerily familiar to you then learn how
to navigate the claim processing maze to decrease your denial rate.
He will also be the keynote speaker on the business/administrative
track on Saturday,
March 21st.
*The Business of O&P: A Historical Perspective With A Predictive Model*
Learn how a historical review of two decades of Medicare utilization
combined with eight years of O&P financial performance can be predictive of
future workforce demand in the age of unreason in the new era of
healthcare. Your perceptions of what you think, what you feel, and
what you believe will be challenged with what we know from big data and
new concepts.
