Hi all, Happy Holidays
I need suggestions, no doubt someone came up with a working solution.
Have bilateral female of advanced age, very good hands, sight,
coherence, with BL Mauch units. She's transitioning from stubbies to
functional prostheses.
Plan is to initially ambulate with knees locked, using units yoke in
the back to lock it.
But she needs to unlock them to sit down, preferably with a remote of
some sort. Locking/pulling tab up to lock is not an issue, I have that
solved. But I need something that will pull it up AND push it down to
unlock, before sitting. Of course, as knee flexes, it all changes in
distance between socket and tab, so it has to either be flexible or
articulating somehow to accommodate that change.
Any ideas on easy to manipulate/find/secure actuator for that tab?
Thank you
