Hi Everyone,
One of our patients is a quadrilateral amputee with bilateral transradial
and bilateral transtibial amputations. She has pre-existing shoulder
injuries which limit her ability to use body powered prostheses. We are
looking into fitting her with bilateral myoelectric prostheses but are
looking for input on successful designs - particularly in regards to ease of
donning and control. If you have any experience fitting bilateral
myoelectric transradial prostheses, I would appreciate any input on what has
worked well.
Thanks!
