Thanks to all who responded to my inquiry.
My original question:
I am interested in learning more about the SmartPuck and the AirPuck. If anyone would be kind enough to share their experiences, good or bad, that would be appreciated.
Summary of responses:
Many were very happy with the SmartPuck and its ability to maintain vacuum. The main issue was surrounding connectivity to the iPod - some felt the Bluetooth connection to the SmartPuck was sporadically dropped. Some had an issue connecting 2 SmartPucks to one iPod in the case of a bilateral. Many felt this may be addressed by the company with a recent software upgrade. One person noted that the sit mode can be set to a lower vacuum level but emphasized that it doesn't reduce the vacuum actively. Some felt it was inconvenient to have to remove the distal pad and filter in order to charge the SmartPuck. Some liked that the AirPuck can be used as a diagnostic tool to assess suitability for the SmartPuck (same socket). Many felt the unit was quiet, ran smoothly and the tech support was good.
Thanks to all who responded.
