Hi List,
For therapeutic shoes per the policy the supplier has to have a copy of CMN and medical records signed by the certifying doctor 6 months prior to the supply date signed by the certifying physician.
What if the CMN is signed by the M.D. but the visit notes are not signed by the certifying doctor. Even after repeated contact the M.D.'s office does not respond to giving the provider a signed or letter of approval to that effect. What are the choices or supplier....as supplier we cannot control why the certifying doctor won't sign the medical records or give a letter of approval.
What are your thoughts on this?
Thanks,
Padma Annaldasula
