Hello List,
I am exploring options for a fitting a mature WD with a myoelectric prosthesis. He currently has a self-suspending socket with a good degree of wrist p/s rotation which we would like to fully maintain. I’m looking for new ideas that you have used and how well they have worked. I’m looking into OttoBock custom silicone liner but cost may be a concern here. Option 2 is flexible/elastic thermoplastic insert with integrated airtight electrodes, but I’m doubtful we can maintain an airtight suction fit with his anatomy. Any other options?
Many thanks,
