Hello Colleagues and Guests,
I just submitted my comments successfully tonight...... but, yesterday,
I could not submit the comments because the regulation.gov website was
down. I have screen shots to support my claim. As such, if others were
trying to send comments yesterday and gave up out of frustration, you
might want to contact CMS to let them know that their system was down
for a period of time and ask that they accept comments for one more day.
I ended up sending my comments to one of my Senators and asked them to
forward the information to the appropriate federal department. Whether
they did or not, remains to be seen. I did get an acknowledgement reply
from them though. Anyway, I was able to attach a file tonight and trust
that CMS will read my comments and give consideration to same.
Have a good week and I hope that CMS will consider the consequences
related to this prior authorization proposal for Medicare recipients and
the professionals otherwise involved.
