Hello everyone,

I was wondering if people are continuing to get Medicare audits for
prosthetic claims. I was under the impression that they were on hold for
awhile but since that time, we have gotten all of our prosthetic claims
audited, which for us was a huge increase as before when everyone else was
getting a large number or audits, we had only a few.

I am in region B and the auditing company is listed as National Government
Services - A CMS Contracted Agent. We called them and they said all
claims with a L5301 code will be audited and to deal with it if we want to
get paid.

We have not had any issues with getting paid when we had the audits before
and I don't see a problem other than a huge increase of time getting
everything together and the confusion as to why we suddenly are getting way
more audits.

Can anyone here clarify about the audits being on hold or are you having
similar issues?
